Job Description:
You will be responsible for helping to develop professional solutions
for the Broadcast and Post Production market. This position requires
emphasis on innovation and high quality code. You have a minimum
of 5+ years experience in C and C++ development. You must demonstrate
that you are a self-starter, creative in your work and are highly
motivated. This job entails integrating third party codec technology
into an existing suite of applications and developing and maintaining
a low latency, high performance streaming architecture.
Skills required:
C++, Windows, experience working with professional products for
the film or broadcast video market. Familiarity with video compression
and codec technology.
Skills preferred:
COM, C, C++ (Visual C++). Experience working video compression technology,
high performance file I/O, and experience working with windows drivers
a huge plus. Experience working with TCP/IP protocols, specifically
experience with RTP/RTSP and UDP streaming. Experience with image
processing or related fields a plus. BS in Computer Science or Computer
Engineering preferred.

Programmer
Job Description:
Digital Rapids is seeking a senior level software engineer to design
and develop a back end database for a suite of high end products
for the post production and video broadcast industries. This database
will be used across several product lines and by hundreds of users
simultaneously for the tracking of film and video assets by major
studios and broadcasters. This position will expand to include working
on a Java based applications.
Skills required:
Must have strong practical experience working with database design
and deployment in Java. Experience in SQL, EJB, JSP, Servlets, and
dynamic HTML on Windows and Linux with a working understanding of
Apple OS X and Solaris issues required. Must be fluent in web presentation
technologies, backend fulfillment and web security issues. 5+ years
of Java development with multiple projects from inception through
completion.
Skills preferred:
Eclipse IDE, COM, C++ (Visual C++), and Java technologies. Windows
and Linux experience, experience with image processing or related
fields a plus. BS in Computer Science or equivalent in real world
product development.

Job Description:
Digital Rapids is seeking a senior level software
engineer who is experienced in low level networking technologies.
Qualifications include strong development experience in C/C++, Object
Oriented design, COM, Java, network protocols, cross platform development
techniques and conceptual knowledge of audio/video media programming.
Specific responsibilities include the development of multicast data
and video delivery solutions, network proxy technology and products,
and some future p2p technology. Projects include multiple products
for the film and broadcast video industries.
Candidate must be self motivated, a fast learner,
and be able to work with a small team of engineers on a peer level.
The candidate will have experience with digital media technologies
and frameworks such as MPEG (1,2,4), and protocols such as HTTP,
RTSP, RTP, Multicast, and peer to peer technologies. Candidate will
have good communication skills, and have strong problem solving
capabilities.
Skills required:
Must have strong practical experience working with network protocols
(HTTP, MMS, RTSP, RSP), in high performance multi-threaded, SMP
environments, 5+ years of C++ development with multiple projects
from inception through completion.
Skills preferred:
COM, C, C++ (Visual C++), and Java. Windows and Linux experience
(or Solaris), experience with image processing or related fields
a plus. BS in Computer Science or equivalent in real world product
development.
